In selecting officers and crew, SMSL will ensure all training courses required by STCW 2010, show the respective position and ranks and Seaman Books are checked for sea time and experience relative to the type of vessels required by principles. Are verified to ensure they are valid and comply with IMO and STCW 2010 as amended and in accordance with ISM requirements. All documents, and certificates, to be valid at least one (1) year, at commencement of contract.
SMSL can offer licensed seafarers of all ranks, for vessels ranging from Bulk Carriers, Oil, Gas and Chemical Tankers, General Cargo, Reefer Vessels, Container Ships and Cruise Liners.
A Medical check-up, Medical Clearance and any requirements related to COVID 19 will be obtained from the Yangon Department of Marine Administration and submitted prior to dispatching any seaman to join a vessel.
SMSL plans to expand for the service to include catering staff for Hotels and food and beverage staff to serve aboard Cruise Liners. Candidates with proven experience or trained to perform their duties to international standards and quality. In house training programme for principle (Establish at office).
